Art/Video Exhibition at SAM
Today we set out as a group to participate in the textiles workshop at Riverlinks, though when we arrived it was nowhere to be seen. Much to our disappointment we parted ways and visited the Tracey Moffatt exhibition, luckily this was nearby. The art on display was colourful and exciting, plus the short videos were fun to watch in the gallery rooms with the dark curtains, loud audios and big screens. This exhibition is my favourite to date, it was amazing to see that Shepparton, out little town had such great art come our way for all to see. I really enjoyed the audio and visual elements of this exhibition, it was engaging as well as exciting to be a part of. The Shepparton Festival's contribution to the advertising and organising of this exhibition was both time and money well spent. I felt somewhat proud of the efforts of the team while visiting this exhibition, I also felt privileged to have the opportunity to see such art in my little county town that doesn't usually host such intriguing art events.
